Expedition Report: (CLASSIFIED ENTITY: SCP-087)

Observable Behavior:
SCP-087 is a large staircase with platforms. The stairs descend at a 38° angle over 13 steps before arriving at a semi-circular platform approximately 3 meters in diameter. The direction of descent rotates 180° at each platform. SCP-087's design limits subjects' visual range to approximately 1.5 flights of stairs. A light source is required for all subjects exploring SCP-087 as there are no lighting fixtures or windows. Light sources greater than 75 watts are ineffective, as SCP-087 appears to absorb any excess light.
Subject reports and audio recordings confirm the sound of a child crying, pleading, located approximately 200 meters below the initial platform. However, all attempts to descend the staircase have failed to bring the subjects closer to the source. The depth calculated during Exploration IV, the longest, shows that the depth is far below what is permitted by the structure of the building as well as by the geological conditions. At this time, it is unknown if SCP-087 has an end.

Mission in progress:
Following the discovery of doors on level -76, attempt to find the end of SCP-087 by going through them using the required items. Our previous scout sent to the field also reported some sort of mysterious rooms filled with furniture with irregular colored markings on their surfaces. We do not know what this may be, but it will be up to you to find out and confirm the source of the crying heard from the top of the stairwell.
